Mediocre BBQ, not much flavor. I was here on a Friday night by myself at the bar. I ordered a Kentucky Mule cocktail, half rack of St Louis ribs, side of cucumber salad and side of potato salad. The food arrived almost immediately, before the mule. The ribs were maybe 60 degrees, not even warm. They had some room temp sauce on them. The meat was cooked properly but barely had any smoke flavor and the sauce had no opinion, somewhat sweet and gelatinous. The cucumber salad was similar, not sweet, not vinegary, not spicy, just pretty bland crunchy cucumber slices. The potato salad had a little flavor, mostly the egg and potato. The cocktail also had little going on, strong enough but mostly ice...
I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich accompanied by a side of potato salad. I must say, the potato salad was exceptional—I really wanted more of it! It was rich in flavor without being overly mayonnaise-heavy. The BBQ was also very good, but you'll definitely want to add some sauces to enhance your experience. My favorite was the Gold Medal sauce, which had a delicious mustard flavor. They offer three sauces that are based on ketchup, mustard, and vinegar. I do wish the portions were a little larger, though. The food was served promptly, and the service had a warm, welcoming vibe.
As someone from Kansas City, I have to say this was undoubtedly the best meal I've had in Boston. Several elements contributed to this standout experience: first, the crispy bacon pieces on the wedge salad; second, the delicious pickles served as a side; and third, the refreshing watermelon that accompanied the dish. Moreover, the bourbon selection was absolutely fantastic. Everything was just perfect!

I was at the Harvard Square branch but there is no listing for that. I was surprised at the price point, it seemed expensive. I had the brisket sandwich which turned out to be brisket on a burger roll. Both the roll and the brisket were fine if somewhat dry. Service was pleasant and fast.
I love this restaurant! The food is excellent even the next day! I'm glad that I had better delivery service this time. I'm handicapped and there is a problem with rats and college kids. I want to give him five stars for bringing my food to my door.
