Recently encountered that it costs more to order take out in person or direct from their website than online via DD, etc. due to their 20% “fair wage” charge. I’m all for tipping for service…servers, bartenders and experience but this shouldn’t overlap take away. This feels like a money grab/up charge.Tried again sat at the bar, felt like it took 5 minutes to get acknowledged and order a drink on tap. 1. Good first date place (loud enough for awkward silences to be drowned out, yet quiet enough to get a good conversation going)2. Good bar food..shareable3. This is strictly a QR affair…no actual waiters come to you. You get seated and then you order based on your table or bar seat. Simple and elegant, but if you don’t like that kind of thing, it’s probably not going to convince you to somehow enjoy that process4. Staff is super nice and generally kind5. Outdoor parklettes for more privacy as well as a bar and some seating inside for more energy6. Good location…just far away from the riff raff on the rest of filmore to enjoy a bit more low key-ness than those parts.
I've been to the snug about three times now and it has been a solid place. They have a self-serve QR code ordering system which you order from and the food is brought directly to the table where you scanned your code at which I thought was very cool there is a 20% automatic gratuity tacked on at the end of your bill which hikes up the prices and was a bit much for me and the single burger and popcorn chicken we got.The wagyu burger though, is pretty solid! The star of the show was the dijonaise and carmelized onions, absolutely delicious.

The outdoor seating arrangement is fantastic, featuring individual booths. I enjoy visiting this place for drinks or a leisurely lunch or happy hour. They offer an extensive drink menu, including non-alcoholic options like Arnold Palmers, as well as sparkling wine, draft beer, and cocktails. I particularly liked their fall salad, which was both delicious and satisfying, featuring yellow and red beets with arugula and goat cheese tossed in a light vinaigrette dressing.
Wonderfully, random find in Pacific Heights. Felt as though I was a regular from the first few moments I was here. Staff was courteous, friendly, and attentive. Gave off a family vibe, with subtle music. Great selection cocktails, and small pub type menu. I have not been here in later evenings, but have been informed that is a lively and happy place. I would so recommend this establishment based merely on their service anything above and beyond, is just the icing. ?
The food was good, the people were nice. And the drinks were cool. I kind of thought the no waiter experience sad.. you order online, you pay online, and they take a 20% tip out without giving you an option of offering more. It really felt like they werejust waiting for the robots to replace the waiters. I miss old San Francisco, it was full of people doing jobs, not machines
Didn't drink on this visit but the food was really good.We appreciated the self order/check out system that allowed us to close out our tab when we were ready. Vibes were great. Perfect for a quick catch up lunch with friends. Will be coming back.

The drinks came so fast after I pressed the order button I didn’t know what hit me. SO EFFICIENTFries were also absolutely fabulous in that classic American way.
Cozy little restaurant. We went for brunch on Sunday. I took one star out as the menu was very limited. Suggest adding at least two more items.
