This is a fantastic pub for Cask beer, craft beer and genuine cider lovers alike. While it may be on the secret side of Shabby, the place is convenient enough and a magnet for drinkers. Large front window! There are some simple snack food (pork pie type things is definitely not a gastropub! It also seems to be a garden out of the back that I did not visit January, but that could be good the icing on the cake. Fortunately, they don't shy away from strong Cask-Ales, at least four hand pumps wore a beer over 5% on my visit.
Incredible Alcohol Large selection of handicraft Beers/Zieger live piano pair eves a week The shrub is the next step. The sheer effort was in it. My picture doesn't make the sculpted righteousness, it was phenomenal Left a helmet here and the Barman ran in the spicy rain to get it back to me. They would bring tears to a glass eye
Excellent pub for a real Ale Drinker, 14 hand pumps serve beer from all over the country. Friendly knowledgeable staff, cheerful hunters. Beautiful small garden with terrace on the back. Would definitely visit again!
Just one of the big pubs! If you love Cask Ales, this is a pilgrimage you have to make! Great beer, good service, good company and a sense of timelessness that is surprisingly comforting.
