yesterday 9/4/18 the pub held a funeral reception for us. everything was perfect hot drinks ready at the arrival was excellent and the personal friendly and helpful .... loved the terrace with a fire burning and cover to keep us warm for those who brave the outside on a wet and cold day. Thank you.
excellent organization, hospitality, service and eat today from beginning to end. many thanks, jo, steve and all their employees. perfect Christmas dinner for our group of 40 people. I would recommend the calibre for anyone looking for a great place to eat, they will not be disappointed x
A warm welcome from Steve and Jo in a lovely child friendly traditional pub... great craft beer and local gin as well as the usual beverages...food excellent.... in particular the homemade scotch eggs! Mmm....
this place was an absolute gem, eating incredible, personal were all fantastic and the pub and garden were beautiful. very child-friendly and dog friendly and looking forward to the return.
Sunday roast was beautiful! Nothing was any trouble we asked for more veg and we got it no problem!!! More gravy too!! Lovely staff would highly recommend!

Really good classic village pub. Good range of cask beer and super food!! Also dog friendly which matters a lot for us.
