I had a fantastic evening at Stepping Stones with my family. What I loved the most was the inviting aroma of delicious food as we approached the restaurant, along with the warm smiles that greeted us upon entering. The orange juice in my Bacardi was perfectly smooth and not too tart. The food was expertly cooked; the sweetness, the steak, and the treacle tart with lemon zest were absolutely outstanding! A big thank you to Stepping Stones for their wonderful hospitality; we will definitely be returning for more.
I had a wonderful family dinner here the other day, and the food was incredible. I started with goat cheese and had a trio of fish for my main course, and I just didn't want the meal to end. I love this intimate restaurant; it’s a great place to enjoy delicious food. The staff is excellent, and I would eat here every day if I lived closer! They also serve fresh bread and oil while you wait for your starters, which is simply perfect. Thank you for a delightful evening—we will definitely be back!
We had a fabulous meal here yesterday evening for my husband's birthday, with our two children. The food was great, found it difficult to choose what to eat, as such a lovely menu- the scallops were amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and particularly accommodating as my son has a severe nut allergy. Will definitely book again when we are next down in Cornwall.
I had my first visit today after receiving several recommendations, and it was fantastic! The Sunday roast was outstanding, complete with excellent Yorkshire puddings (high praise coming from a Yorkshireman). The appetizers were also superb, and the children loved everything too. This place is fantastic and only deserves to do really well. The selection of food is brilliantly balanced, the prices very fair, the ambience and staff lovely, but the best thing unsurprisingly is the food,simply divine! See you soon.
Wonderful service wonderful food. I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment. The decor is modern and tasteful the seating is limited so you must book but it is well worth it.
We had our shop Xmas meal here tonight and we were blown away. The food was stunning, loved the attention to detail, 2 fantastic ladies serving us. We all had a lovely evening thank you.
