We ended up here as we walked by and noticed this cute looking place ..so we decided why not and stopped by to eat. We entered the establishment, we noticed how the place was not very busy, so we accessed that there should be no issues getting a table. We were greeted (not so much of a greeting by a (Chinese lady I believe..anyway..my main point is that she is Asian...she asked us if we had a reservation and we said no...she said is okay and she will get us seated shortly...we asked for a table in the patio/by the window..she also said of course...she asked us to wait outside while we waited for our table,which we thought was so strange...we brushed it off....we sat down in a area COMPLETE O...
We had a really(! delicious meal and the ambiance was very nice in the restaurant. Without a reservation, we could immediately join with a group of 8 people. We knew that we had until 6:50 pm to finish because we had to make room for another group with reservations. That was of course fine, because we had enough time to enjoy our meals. But then at 18:40 we got the dessert card from the service, which we thought we didn't have a deadline anymore. But the service got a bit tight with the serving of out the deserts. That was a bummer! The food was pretty good, the service was friendly. The atmosphere just didn’t reflect the vibe on the website, this place is very casual, and relaxed yet the prices are more in line with high end fine dining. Given it’s remote location, not sure it’s worth the trip out here unless you’re staying in a nearby hotel, in which case it’s likely one of the best options in the area! Fantastic brunch foods and delightful coffee (our favourite, lattes, were served in huge cups, completely satisfying our caffeine requirements). We ate here twice in two days because it was so good. Our lovely server made the experience even better.
