Friendly service and very nice food, brought to your table. The kebabs are amazing and the chips are nice thin crunchy ones (not the huge hand cut slabs that are an alarming trend in some pubs). The steak is great too. There is more than one interesting bar area to dine in, and a good beer garden out the back. We return to the Swan every 2 or 3 weeks for a nice change from our local pubs and restaurants. Be patient when they are busy because good food takes time. Highly recommended.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic, simply delicious! The staff were friendly and pleasant, making our experience really enjoyable. The average price per person ranged from £20 to £30. I would rate the food and service a perfect 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a solid 4. I would highly recommend trying the Chicken Burger and Salad.
Best pub in Lewes! Really good cheesey chips, the sticky toffee pudding is a must! Staff always friendly, good range of alcohol, cosy atmosphere, really lovely pub garden. I recently discovered this restaurant while in Lewes and decided to try it out. I had the best lamb I've ever tasted and the staff, especially Eleanor, were fantastic. Can't wait to come back for another meal!
