brilliant pub! friendly, welcoming, picturesque with the bowling on the green beside it. eating is excellent, with good portions and good price, and the pints are the sharpest going. service is always friendly as the other guests. pool and darts as expected for the right country pub is it!

a good old fashion beer! the locally brewed strawberry earth is an absolute must. I could've got this all day long. eating here is also very good. I had a tuna melt and my other half had a prawn cocktail. both courts were great. I wouldn't hesitate to eat again.
