We tried this restaurant as a result of reading the good trip advisor reviews, and we were absolutely not disappointed. We were given a warm and friendly welcome and shown to a table which would not disgrace the finest of fine dining establishment. The food was excellent beautifully prepared and delicious a slight hiccup when they hadn't got our chosen bottle of wine, but who cares when the second choice bottle (an Indian wine was so good. Service was first class, we don't like to be rushed, but also hate being kept waiting, so they got it exactly right. And attentive without being overbearing, these chaps really know their stuff. Ok i'm not super great a writing reviews, but I know my food and eat a lot off it out! The Place is small, you would drive passed it but when you look, that needle in a hay stack, this bright, clean, modern place is amazing. decor is great and the food is even better! ok I had poppadoms for my starters, but the curry's and rice, nan and saagloo and panner was fresh, delicious and not greasy. I was stuffed! at the end and the staff was great and friendly.
My partner and I were treated like royalty during our visit to this restaurant. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The menu offers a variety of options, from traditional dishes to more adventurous ones. Every dish we tried was exceptional, with distinct flavors shining through. We plan on returning to dine here many more times in the future.
Service was very slow considering we were the only people in there when food finally came out, it was cold however tastes good, would of been nicer if it was hot tho! Had a lovely evening at The Tamarind, the food was brilliant, freshly made, arrived in good time, and mighty tasty. The staff were very welcoming, very smiley and helped us explore the menu to our own taste. Thank you team Tamarind...we’ll definitely be back 10/10
This is probably one of the best Indian meals I've had in thirty years of living in Bedford. A party of six of us all agreed that it was absolutely superb. Not only was the food delicious, but it was also reasonably priced, which was an added bonus.
The food at this restaurant is amazing and the service is excellent. The staff is attentive without being overbearing. They are willing to customize your meal to your liking; for example, I don't like garlic so they made my dish without it.
