We had a staff night out planned for the volunteers in the charity shop I run and had been let down by another eatery in Farnham, with an urgent call to Traditional Plaice they were able to accommodate us with an hours notice. We were welcomed with a smile and fantastic attitude the staff could not have been more helpful if they tried, they cheerfully dealt with all requests and we had a fantastic fun time together, the food was second to none and would most definitely recommend to everyone I know. Thank you Traditional Plaice. we will 100% be back!!
I have to say that last night I attended an event where a large order of fish and chips was placed from Traditional Plaice. I wasn't sure what to expect due to the size of the order. However, I was pleasantly surprised when one of the employees from the restaurant brought the heavy boxes to the venue with a smile on his face. The food was fantastic, with perfectly cooked fish and piping hot chips. Traditional Plaice is definitely a standout in the fish and chip industry. Thank you for a great meal!
I’m fussy and I usually find fish in other places a bit bland. This place is by far the most tastiest fish Iv ever had! The chips are fantastic too. Not sure about the soggy batter etc reviews. It’s quality fish and chips. We’ve been several times since moving to the area and are lucky it’s here!! Iv never added salt to fish and never has it been added elsewhere so possibly why it’s bland! However, this fish is so tasty anyway and it’s by far the best takeaway around.
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I have had the fish and chips a few times in the past couple of months and each time has been underwhelming. The batter was not crispy, the fish was over salted, and the quality was not up to par. It seemed like the fish had been refried, giving it an unappetizing texture. I recently attended the same event as trips of 2021 and I cannot praise the service and food quality enough. The food was exceptional, hot, and freshly prepared upon arrival, which was quite impressive considering the large number of people in attendance. Kudos to all the staff, I have already begun recommending them to others in town. I will definitely be using their services again in the future.
I was here for diner last night with a work colleague the restaurant itself was very clean and well presented the staff were friendly polite and welcoming our dinners were excellent
We were a party of 13 tonight. The food was delicious and lovely big portions.. the service was speedy and very friendly. Don’t go anywhere else for your fish and chips!
Took my elderly parents out for lunch they love it here as they live in Fleet. We moved to Wiltshire in 2014 so it was a longish drive but fab food at The end of it. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
All was well until the cod chips came, the batter was like a soaking wet dish cloth obviously cooked in oil that was not hot enough
