Fantastic service today and very well made cappuccino coffees (that's a big compliment from we self-confessed Australian coffee snobs! ...This is a lovely wee café with nice additional outdoor seating; we really enjoyed very generous serves of carrot cake with yummy frosting (even though my darling husband dropped the first servings as he opened the door for in-going customers! . Not an issue however, as the charming Barista, with a smile and a fun quip, replaced and tidied up the mess... that's excellent customer service! Thank-you!Aussie Explorers.
Get a Vanilla Latte here on a regular basis, one of the best places to get a coffee beverage around. Staff is usually pleasant and attentive. They usually have a wide variety of home made sweets to try as well as a selection of soups and sandwiches/wraps. Overall a fantastic little café.Parking: Parking is usually easy to find in the morning or on weekdays but as the village starts to get busy finding parking can be a challenge.
I always stop for a coffee and treat at The Village Bean when I'm in Merrickville. Coffee, Service and Cookies are always good. I tried their Raspberry, Coconut, Macaroon bar this time. It was chewy and absolutely delicious!! My husband enjoyed his date square as well. You can sit inside or out. It's definitely worth a visit!!
