My group and I walked into the restaurant with the intention of having coffee. We found a suitable table, but the server informed us that there was no room for us. We quietly entered the establishment in search of a nice spot, but unfortunately, we did not receive a warm welcome. The staff was very rude.
This little un-assuming cafe became our fall back for decent coffee, tea and sandwiches. It is a gourmet oasis in desert of deep fried food. Their cakes and snacks are lovely. As a black coffee drinker, they had the best beans in the city. Super friendly staff.
Discovered this restaurant and thought it would be a nice spot for lunch. We ordered 2 toasties and coffees, but found them to be way too expensive for the quality. The staff was not friendly and the atmosphere was lacking. I would not recommend this place.
A smile would have made all the difference. ! They have a lovely menu with loads of attractive things. The Spinach feta pie was nice but the slice with the top burnt filo pastry should not have been served up. Coffee good. Tables clean. Nice vibe.
