the waffle on wa st is undoubtedly the best pub in the world. it is a center and heart of the community and as such an example for the best regeneration efforts. beautiful selection of beer, eating is super and cheap dorschwangen broccoli salat is my fav and always really great music. but above all, it's personal. the guvnor and his team are the friendly, most open, friendly baptisms I have met (tolerant as well.) that makes it. Lovely small café with the best coffee in the area, very friendly service, and an excellent selection of music. The food is reasonably priced compared to many places in Hackney, especially considering the large portions and everything is very fresh. I recommend the Harissa, avocado, and cheese on toast!
had an incredible private rental from above to celebrate a birthday. josh, nicholas, louie and phil were so helpful and fun - thanks to the so much careful look for us. great space, great music, great mood

Went there to have a coffee and do some work, the guys there were extremely friendly and helpful. Had an amazing fresh juice blend that we designed on sight (Orange, carrots and little ginger)
Visited there with a bunch of friends. We ordered all things at the menu, and shared the whole brunch together. Very easy going atmosphere. Good vibes, great coffee and tasty bites!
the best alcohol. the manager (nick i think) has created a quite unique irrigation hole in hackney, from which others can only dream. he is also very nice and has beautiful hairs.
