Stopped off there for a pint before getting the bus back 3 -4 miles to central Oxford. The landlord was very pleasant and helpful (I needed to quickly charge my phone up). A very clean and tidy establishment, an old school pub. A vast array of drinks at the bar and seating is a plenty. We were lucky enough that a small(but well stocked) record fair was being held there too. Excellent.
A very fun place to visit, l had the pleasure to visit here a few times several years ago, while servicing RAF C-17s at nearby RAF Brize Norton. Great food, accommodating staff, great classic Oxford pub!
This pub is fantastic, with incredibly friendly staff. The variety of guest areas to choose from is impressive, and the seating area in the back is absolutely beautiful.
Visited on a Wednesday evening nice friendly local pub good pizza served along with a lovely pint of Guinness
