What a great little coffee shop! Passing by headed to dinner I stopped in for a flat-white. I love they use Small Plains coffee beans-loved my flat white with soy so much, I had to have a second! Staff is extremely friendly and always working. The staff of three never stopped-in between customers they cleaned-the customer service is stellar and the coffee shop was one of the cleanest I have been in!
The coffee here is excellent, and the scones are fantastic! I tried the cherry almond scone, which had a generous amount of fruit and just the right touch of sugar icing on top—absolutely delightful! The location is also lovely, featuring comfortable indoor seating, a few outdoor tables, and a large garage-style door that opens up front to let in the nice weather.
Great coffee spot located on a busy street. I recently stopped by on an early Sunday and the line was almost out the door. My friends and I ordered a regular coffee, espresso shot and a matcha latte. Prices are reasonable for DC and service was really quick. I’ll definitely be back for their breakfast pastries
The flavor of the coffee is exquisite. The coffee is so good it needs no sugar or cream. Be sure to order a orange cranberry muffin. I love Wydown since I don’t live far from it. However I was really disappointed that they removed the blueberry lavender scone and their pimento cheese biscuit. These two items were part of their best sellers! They also removed the croissants from the menu and never brought them back.
Elizabeth is the best barista at this place! She is incredibly respectful, kind, and has a wonderful personality. She ensured my order was accurate, and my latte turned out perfect! I hope you are recognizing her as the valuable asset to your establishment that she truly is.
Update: I tried the pastries, and they did not disappoint! The scones were absolutely stunning—I had a cranberry almond scone, and it was delicious. I also sampled the jalapeño biscuits; they were tasty, but I found the jalapeño flavor to be a bit mild.
I stopped in this coffee bar on a whim and I’m so glad that I did! The coffee was top tier and the blueberry muffin was fresh and baked to perfection. The atmosphere is definitely a vibe… cozy and welcoming, I can’t wait to return! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I discovered this amazing restaurant by chance. The cappuccino made with almond milk and the salmon toast were both incredibly delicious!
