Theo is not only one of the best snack bars in the Stuttgart area, it is the highlight of the Remstal. The move from the old location (it was great, with a garden and the flair of improvisation) to the slaughterhouse has not changed the extremely high quality of the food, it has raised comfort and service to an unimagined height. Gyros with salad is the absolute highlight of the menu, alongside Theo, who is always friendly and in a good mood, of course. I hope that this rarity will remain with us for a long time in the age of sprawling kebab stalls. Theo, we thank you for your outstanding food and your nice manner. Keep it up!
Ich war nun dreimal in diesem Restaurant und war heute das erste Mal etwas enttäuscht. Bei meinen letzten beiden Besuchen habe ich Gyros gegessen, welches in Ordnung war, auch wenn die Gyrosschnitzel etwas klein auf dem Teller lagen. Heute habe ich frittierte Calamari-Ringe bestellt, die jedoch nicht wirklich schmackhaft waren. Sie hatten eine etwas zähe Konsistenz, waren sehr fettig und geschmacklich eher langweilig. Die Pommes waren in Ordnung. Die Bedienung wirkt für mich immer etwas distanziert und schnippisch. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze am Gebäude.
Letzte Woche besuchten wir zum ersten Mal Theos Imbiss. Als er noch am Ramsbach war, hatten wir entweder kein Glück, weil alle Plätze besetzt waren, oder wir kamen zu früh oder zu spät. Endlich hat es geklappt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre war irgendwie sehr familiär. Das Essen kam schnell und war heiß (was mir persönlich sehr wichtig ist). Das Pita-Brot war mega lecker, die Pommes super knackig und frisch, und der Gyros war einfach hervorragend. Wir kommen definitiv bald wieder.
Snack not recommended! It has nothing to do with a decent slaughterhouse with good sausage. The currywurst is far from a good currywurst. Then you'd better have a Curry King from Rewe! The boss doesn't tolerate criticism and becomes mushy. It's all Greek and the boss doesn't look like Theo. I am very disappointed with such poor quality.
Theos Imbiss ist ein Klassiker in Schorndorf, wenn es um griechische Küche geht. Der mega freundliche Besitzer/Betreiber macht jeden Besuch zu einem Vergnügen. Ich gehe immer wieder gerne dorthin. Alles ist frisch und lecker.
We had Gyros Pita to take away. Very large portion and tasted really delicious. The boss very friendly. We'll be back.
