We were in Moncton for the night to see the tidal bore and were looking for a place for cocktails;Third Glass Wine and Martini Bar was perfect! It features craft cocktails and beers and wine flights, no food license as of yet but one is in the works. The cosmo I had was one of the best ever and my husband loved his martini. The bar is brand new and it's obvious that a lot of love and money went into the decor, which includes a beautiful tin ceiling, glass chandeliers, rough wood trim, and very interesting artwork. It's exquisite and well worth a visit.
Ambiance is VERY good. However, depending on your bartender, drink consistency greatly lacks. From one night to another, it went from "the best ($14) Gin & Tonic" to an undrinkable liquid ...same happened with a whiskey sour.So, if you go often enough and figure out who's who in terms of bartenders, you'll do great. But if you go in blind, you might be extremely disappointed - especially considering the steep price point for drinks!
We stopped in for a glass of wine after a special dinner to finish off our evening. This is an interesting little bar! Service was excellent and the wines were very good. I tried a wine flight, which was fun to do. I recommend this wine bar, and hope to return someday.
Stopped by for a quick glass. Great atmosphere. Some type of food would have certainly added to the visit (cheese tray, etc.). More expensive than I would have thought for downtown Moncton (and I am not usually sensitive to price). All in all, I would go again.
I love this bar, it has great ambience and staff. They have the best cocktails and an amazing wine selection. You will always get what you pay for!!! I recommend stopping in to this classy bar :)
Cozy and beautiful atmosphere. Great service. I love the wall of fame of musicians who were gone too soon and the quotes on the tables. Great cocktails and exquisite wine list.
Service was fabulous - the one person behind the bar never stopped smiling nor moving and was attentive throughout. Wine flights are creative and the tapas were delicious
Beautiful decor, friendly and knowledgeable staff, we had a great time! More expensive than the average pub, but the upscale vibe made for a nice change of scenery.
