This charming pub was a pleasant surprise! I visited for the first time with friends and originally planned to just stop in quickly before moving on to another spot. However, we ended up staying the entire night. The beer selection was impressive, with clean glasses and friendly bar staff. The pub itself had a quirky and clean atmosphere that we all enjoyed. I am looking forward to returning for a meal next time, as I'm glad we decided to give this place a chance. The open fire was a nice touch as well.
We stopped by for a pint on a Saturday afternoon with our friends and dogs. The atmosphere was very welcoming, with a nice variety of real ale and cider to choose from. The staff were friendly, and our dogs were even given treats. Overall, a great experience.
beautiful old pub in a quiet street from the high street. good ales, and friendly enough, but only seems a bit calm and there is a lack of a buzz. Maybe we visited the wrong time.

the beer was great, as always. we also cost some of the homemade sausage rolls and cakes. Bar staff were beautiful and welcoming!
