This pub is located on a quaint side street off of Teddington Crescent. As we passed by, we noticed people enjoying beer and food outside on a lovely sunny day. The menu offers traditional English cuisine and is quite delightful. While slightly pricier than other establishments, the quality certainly justifies the cost. The lady behind the bar was friendly and welcoming, a refreshing change from the usual arrogance often found in restaurant and pub staff. The gentleman working there was also very pleasant and treated us like old friends. This is a reliable pub that we like to visit for our board game nights. The lighting is a bit dim but still okay. The tables are on the smaller side, but if you're lucky, you might snag one of the two large round tables when it's crowded. The average cost per person is £10–20. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 3. We highly recommend trying the Chicken and Mushroom Pie.

This is a true pub with a great selection of beer and classic pub food. I chose the local Twickenham Fine Ales "Sommersonne" to pair with my order of mussels, and it was a perfect match. The dish was expertly prepared.

The Green King Pub is a very cozy and warm establishment located directly on the river bank. They offer a wide variety of real ales, not just from Green King.
