First time visiting and disappointed. We were seated promptly, but then waited roughly 8 minutes for our server. The wait time itself would not have been a big deal, but they were clearly NOT busy. In those minutes we waited, we were ignored by three servers, two food runners, and the two hosts after being seated. Two servers were at the front playing on their phones (a tall guy with brown wavy hair and a young lady with blonde ponytail). A third tall male server walked past and looked at us as he went on. We were then passed by 2 food runners, and observed the two hosts looking at us but doing nothing. We walked out without ever seeing a server for even a drink order, with so many restauran...
We used to really like this place from many many years ago and decided to make a return trip because we had some time for some lunch over the weekend. And sadly as others stated, the food here seems like it’s been simply reheated from the night before or just not as fresh, most notably, the rice and refried beans tasted dry and leftover from day prior. The other thing is I ordered veggie fajitas and for some reason they decided to include very large chunks of broccoli. I’ve had fajitas all my life and I’ve never had broccoli in my fajitas, so that was odd….but the real kicker for me was ordered a Miller light on draft and it came out dark yellow hazy, almost looking like a double IPA, but ha...
I live right around the corner and have been here years ago and it was very unmemorable and because I didn’t want to drive 15 mins to my favorite family Mexican Resturant we decided to dine here tonight. We were seated right away and our waitress was friendly and service was good. The food is barely mediocre. The chips are definitely not house made and the guacamole is very mid. I had the steak tacos and they were alright. The margarita was ok. Nothing was terrible but there are so many other better places around. I love music but this place was sooo loud. Like yelling across the table loud. I was a tad disappointed tonight and will make the 15 min drive next time.
I like the atmosphere of the restaurant because of the friendly wait staff and hosts. I know the food is good and has something special because it is often one of the first things I think of when traveling back home. The waiters are so kind and they give off a positive vibe! The food is extraordinary and gives a taste of Hispanic culture in a meal! My family’s personal favorite waiter is yolis, but they are all so very sweet! Thanks to the cooks for a delicious meal!
Tijuana Joe's on Johnson's Ferry Road is amazing. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is fun. And, best of all, it is locally owned and operated.
It is my second home for twenty years!!! people over there are nice and kind, good are so delicius. I love everyhing best margarita ever!!!
Enchiladas were horrible ,no sauce on top. The beef filling looked like it had sat out for days. Smothered in lettuce. Rice was tasteless. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
No frills restaurant for Mexican food in Margaritas. Not fine dining, but not bad either.
