TLDR: the owner didn’t honor a coupon that was clearly valid.I came in with a free sandwich coupon that was admittedly a few years old (it floated around the bottom of the “random drawer” . This location was listed and there was no expiration date or any other limitations. I ordered my sandwich and presented the coupon, to which the employee said he needed to call the owner to see if they’d accept it. This led to a 10 minute delay where the employee then asked for a photo of the coupon to send to the owner. The end result was the owner denying the coupon because it was “too old”.
