Food, ambiance and drinks are solid; nonetheless the server service sucks. I came with my girlfriend for valentines to this place and server never asked if drinks were good or not, same thing with the food. After we finished the appetisers, we waited for him to come back to take our order and finally when he came; he was not even polite. Dessert and one more round of drinks, was never offered to us; reason why we asked for the check. That one came fast, but again we had to hand the check to the server because he never came back. I tipped well just because I love the food and Bussers service. I recommend to improve the service.
So glad to know about this version of Toloache (have been to the midtown restaurant several times, and to other of Medina's restaurants – all consistently good! . Lovely spot – this building, nicely renovated, brick walls, etc. – in a part of the city where one always hopes to find a good meal (but is often disappointed . Loved the food – ample portions and quite delicious. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient. Got in and out for a show with plenty of time to spare. Will definitely come back here.
the brunch experience with outdoor eating was wonderful. eating was really good sniffed everything was reasonably expensive. we made an hour unlimited drinks, but they were really nice drinks like a mango margarita and fresh sangria. my small group had a great time. highly recommended for excellent eating, drinks-snd service.
A great non-traditional approach to Mexican cuisine. Highly recommended.
