Honestly, this was the worst service and food we had during our trip in Austria so far. We arrived before noon, so it was still very calm. Before we even had the time to take a seat and read the menu, a very unfriendly waitress came up to us and without welcoming us, she asked us what we wanted to drink. When we wanted to order, she didn't understand us well and had to ask everything twice. We felt like we were bothering her all of the time. My girlfriend, who is vegetarian, ordered a macaroni with tomato sauce and cheese. New restaurant that opened this season and like most places in the Hochkönig area, they offer several (I think 4) options. We tried the Alpencurry, Falafel in pita bread and the Tex mex burger it is not a traditional burger, it has no bun. All these were tasty and nicely served, but aside from the curry, the portions were smaller. I always got fries to fill my stomach on a full day of skiing.

Sehr schöne Lokalität mit cooler Atmosphäre, deshalb 4 Sterne! Das Essen bekommt ansonsten 2 bis 3 Sterne; sehr zu empfehlen ist die Curry-Kokos-Suppe (7,90 €). Auch die vegetarischen Kasnocken sind wohl sehr zu empfehlen (15,90 €).
Fast alles in diesem Restaurant wird selbst gemacht, bis auf Germknödel und Pommes, wie mir der Betriebsleiter erzählt hat. Man schmeckt die Kompetenz der Köche, das Essen ist super abgeschmeckt, kreativ und wird schnell serviert.
Das Essen, das sich wirklich zusammensetzte und auch schön aussah. Der Service war etwas weniger. Der Hund hatte bis viermal keine vier Fragen an Wasser und alles dauerte lange.

This restaurant was just amazing. It is decorated in unique style, the staff is nice and quick. They have several unusual options the tex mex burger was delicious.
