I called in an order and the woman on the phone got it wrong. When I went to pick it up, I noticed that the sandwich was made incorrectly. I informed them about the mistake, and they added the missing ingredients, but then told me I had to pay an additional $7 for a quarter serving of the food. I explained that it didn’t make sense for me to drive back just to pay for a mistake they made. The staff member looked me straight in the eye and said, “It’s human error, you still have to pay.” It really makes me wonder who trained these employees.
The stuffed cabbage was delightful and generously smothered in a red sauce, which I really enjoyed. I do wish they had served the mashed potatoes on the side; I'll be sure to ask for that next time. The mish/mash soup was also great, though I felt it needed a bit of salt and pepper—nothing too serious, as we all have our different tastes. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes from the menu!
My brother Rod is a huge fan of this place. The service is incredible; the person at the counter is consistently friendly and enjoyable to chat with. The food is fantastic—it's a bit on the pricey side, but you truly get what you pay for in terms of quality! I'm happy they're just a mile away from Rod since it's so convenient to grab a great corned beef sandwich! Papa Bear.
This is, without question, the best deli for Reubens that I've found within a 10-mile area. The corned beef is consistently piled high and goes wonderfully with the sauerkraut. While I personally prefer the classic dill pickles, they only serve the new dill variety here. Even though they aren't my favorite, my son really liked them, so I guess it works out! My mom and I stumbled upon this deli, and we were pleasantly surprised by how great it was. The corned beef and pastrami were among the best we've tried in Michigan. I ordered the corned beef hash, which could have used a touch more salt, but it was still very delicious. It's a bit far from where we usually go, but I would definitely love to return.
Without a doubt, the best Reuben sandwiches I've ever tasted! I ordered the #18, which was toasted and came with fries, and it was incredibly delicious with generous portions. This place has quickly become one of my favorites in the area! I usually get takeout, but the restaurant itself is inviting and clean, and the staff is extremely friendly.
Tony's serves the best corned beef I've ever tasted! Alongside the corned beef, we also tried the chicken noodle soup and chicken tenders today, and both were fantastic!
