This is my go to spot! I have to try to remember to get other things bc I fell in love with the Volcano Chicken! I stop in and grab a Thai Ice Tea all summer. I’ve never say down in here even when it was an option. My son even loves the food and he’s super picky, chicken fingers and French fry type guy.... Now I will say this, they are not the friendliest bunch of workers, pleasantries are limited but I like to chalk this up to cultural differences and the fact that they are always busy! It’s not off putting enough to make me not wanna pay for their product.
This place has large padthai, pad see ew, etc. and they can be adjusted (e.g. without eggs) to adapt the nutritional needs of the customers. My favorites are the grilled pig and the loaded thai tacos. The pig is extremely juicy. While the tacos were very aromatic, they were filled with many spices. The ladies who run this restaurant are very friendly. But there is a minimum fee of $15 for credit cards. There is also a parking space conveniently next to Topaz. If it is full, customers can also find street parking in the area.
Quantity was good for the price except for the crispy dumplings(4 tiny pieces for $6) which is a bit too much. Wait time was bad, we waited for almost an hour to get the food onto the table, they had only one waitress in the place I felt bad for her. Parking is limited Ice tea was good Spicy Basil Thai Fried Rice was good Pad Thai Noodles were good Dumpling were tasty but pricy Overall good experience
Delicious! ordered the Thai chicken horse rice with a Thai ice cream coffee. My husband ordered a Thai iced tea, and we both enjoyed the drinks. Great restaurant for Thai food in the Belleville area. The dishes are well flavored and the portion sizes are good for value. We enjoyed our meal and cannot wait to try more menu items. The food is also quickly prepared and you do not have to wait too long to take what is great.
Delicious. You know how Pad Thai w/ Chicken can be a little (or more) dry, with the chicken resembling little more than pieces of leather? NOT this place, everything I 've ever ordered is moist, flavorful, and fresh.
my fav. they love their big noodle dishes, either drunk noodle or pad they see ew. that's fresh. nothing is too fat. her fried fish dish is also delicious.
