I have been going to this place since I was a child and it 's about time it gets a review. This Tops is not the same as the Tops chain you see Pasadena and the surrounding areas. Their cheeseburgers are solid and never disappoint. The patty is perfectly flavored (it is a thin patty) and the Thousand Island -like dressing they use makes for a perfect combo. I grew up right down the street from this place. I've been going here for so long that I remember when you didn't pay until your food was ready. I've never been disappointed with anything that I've ordered from there. But to narrow it down my go to is the pastrami and chili cheese fries. The pastrami is great maybe not the best but it's always been very enjoyable, but when it comes to their chili cheese fries. Those are hands down the best that I've ever had anywhere, and they do not skimp on the size of the portion of them or the pastrami. I got the bacon breakfast burrito $9.99) and thought it was a decent size and it tasted as expected like a bacon breakfast burrito. It didn't really wow me, but it was filling. I appreciated that it wasn't greasy at all.Service by the gentleman in the kitchen was nice. Seating is outdoor only. Parking is limited to 3 parking spaces behind the building and street parking.Some items on the menu are reasonably priced and others are a bit expensive in my opinion. I'll be back in the future to try their chili cheese fries and pastrami sandwich.
They gave me wrong sandwiches and tried to call them for 20 minutes and no one answered. Next day Manager Rene told me he can not do anything about it unless I bring the actual sandwiches to them after 12 hours ????!!!! Very unprofessional and disrespectful
If you decide to eat here maybe just order while you are there and not ahead. They won't make it until you show up. Kinda defeats the how purpose of calling it in.
