Toucans was one of the only places open the night of the hurricane. We stopped in for a bite to eat. I would not consider the restaurant to be packed but they did have quite a few tables full. We were able to get in and get a table quickly. Our serverdid a pretty good job of handling our party of eight with all the other tables she had as well. First off the food was amazing for this place but the service was very subpar, which is why it got 4 stars. We were told to sit anywhere so we chose a table to the left of the entrance. We waited about 10 minutes before anyone waited on us. We were only waited on when a family of 5 sat next to us and we were able to ask for menus. Our waitress waited on the family but we were never asked if we needed drink refills, which we did. I also had to get up and get my own ketchup. Like I said the food was great. Nice place on the main drag. The bartender was the highlight. Went to watch hockey and college football. Our bartender was attentive, accommodating, and engaging. Don't remember his name though. Took advantage of gametime beer and flavored vodka(three olives) specials. Looked over the apps on menu and had sticker shock. Quickly learned you could place half order ofnachos. It was plenty for two people. Pic is after we had already eaten half. Chips were well seasoned with ample amounts oftoppings so much so we ordered extra chips. The dipping sauce that accompanied was excellent. Can't speak to entres but Idefinitely would return when back in town.
Live music, lively night scene, good energy. Walking back to the hotel around 10pm, stopped for a drink because live music going. Good drink options, nice inside and outside seating. Really it seems like a nice place, our experience was a little lackluster with the service, waited 10ish minutes for a server to free up to be seated, placed a drink order immediately to cut down on wait time, took another 15ish minutes for some pretty simple drinks. Drink order was right, no complaints there. Unfortunately I'm assuming, like everybody else, they're suffering from staffing issues, making for extended wait times.

So I'm traveling for my honeymoon and stopped here after we left the beach. My wife loved the wings. And my burger was really good. Wish I could've gotten a picture of our food but it was too good to even take a picture. If you go request Angel as your waitress. Treated us amazing. Kept our drinks refilled and our food came out quick!!! Definitely a place to go if you are a tourist

The food was fabulous and definitely plenty for the price! The first night, we ordered 2 entrees which was too much for my daughter and I. The second night we split an entree. Atmosphere is very laid back, staff was friendly, we've ate there 2ce sofar and we will be going back before we leave here.
Beautiful location. Outdoor seating allows you to view the beach while you eat, or you can dine inside in the ac. Food was great with large portions. Servers were friendly and helpful. Nice clean 3 stall bathroom. Overall great experience.

We drove across Florida to Clearwater during our 2 week trip from the UK for the day. It was honestly the best food we had during our two week trip. The burgers are amazing. The waitress was really nice and the bill was not too bad.
