We were genuinely impressed by this steakhouse. After moving a family member into a new apartment in Fall River, we were looking for a place to eat, and all four of us were thrilled to have chosen Douro. The atmosphere and service were exceptional, and the food—steaks, cod, and especially the seafood pasta and homemade potato chips—was absolutely fantastic. Plus, the wine selection is impressive enough to satisfy even the most discerning connoisseur. We can't wait to return as it’s perfect for special occasions or a delightful weekend outing. If you’re in the area and haven't tried Douro yet, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
We decided last minute to stop by for some drinks, appetizers, and dinner. Although we didn’t have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and seated at a lovely table with a view. The atmosphere and decor were truly stunning. Our server, Tim, was incredible! He seemed to work at the bar, but when we arrived, the other server was busy on the phone, so he promptly seated us and took charge of the situation. He was exceptionally professional and courteous—he definitely deserves a raise! The drinks were fantastic, the food was excellent and beautifully presented. Without a doubt, we will be returning!
This was our first time there and I was pleasantly surprised at the service, atmosphere and quality of the meals. We brought our son and his wife out for dinner and he chose Douro Steakhouse although neither had been, we’ve heard good things about them. My meal was very good, I had the passion fruit, herb crusted cod loins with veggies and mashed. The cod was cooked perfectly, seasoned with just the right amount of spices. My son had the duck which he described as outstanding. The drinks were very good, the service was fantastic. This was our first time there and definitely not our last.
Had a valentines dinner here and was my first time checking the place out. We both shared a few apps half dozen oysters and octopus. Both where incredible oysters tasted fresh and shucked well and the octopus was made perfectly. We both ordered wagyufor dinner rare an as rare as possible for myself. Really this place you get what you pay for everything was cooked well and thedrinks were great. Definetly try an expresso martini on the way out, we had 2 or 3. Definetly coming back here. The pic is our final mimosas from our bottomless mimosas that we enjoyed to the fullest in all different flavors. Emily was a wonderful server, the ambiance is absolutely gorgeous, food was delicious (please try the French toast! , and overall A in mybook. I?m not from the area, so I used google as a reference for a brunch spot and I?m so happy to have stumbled on this jewel!Definitely plan to be back to experience dinner and their lounge area.
We visited to sample the coffee and refresher flights. The bartender, Tim, asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't, but he kindly offered us a spot at the bar. We ordered our flight, and it was delightful! Tim was fantastic—very friendly and attentive. He was one of the most welcoming bartenders I've encountered in a while. Thank you so much! I can't wait to return!
This was our first visit, and it was fantastic! I took my mom out for Mother's Day, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The food not only looked great but tasted incredible, and we savored every bite. Our waitress, Savannah, was wonderful and incredibly kind! She consistently checked in on us, ensuring we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be coming back!
I've came a few times in the past and it was good, BUT new kitchen and menu is WAY better than before. The portuguese steak was amazing. The bread they serve was hot and crispy on the outside with a pourable melted butter. Calamari was fantastic as well as Mozambique fries. Our server, Emily, was fantastic. We were a large group of eight, and she did an excellent job managing the timing of our courses while ensuring our drinks were always topped up. The food was delicious, with generous portions, and the wait time from the kitchen was reasonable.
