Don't judge a restaurant by its appearance. It seems like there haven't been any renovations since the 1950s. But who needs a fancy atmosphere when the food is delicious? The service was friendly and provided by a lovely lady. I highly recommend the King Prawns, vegetables, and cashews from the Chop Suey menu. The take-out service was efficient. Overall, the meal was perfect for dinner, with a price range of $20-40 per person. The food and service both deserve a 5-star rating, but the atmosphere was lacking with a rating of 1.

We've been going to the Toy Yeon Cafe for around 20 years now. Very unpretentious, with dated decor and style, (most still dates back to the 50's and 60's), but...the food is superb, and all personally cooked by Mrs Tay and family.If it's good, tasty Asian food you're after, at very reasonable prices, you'd be silly to pass by this restaurant without sampling!
Where does one begin! The old lady is really nice but the food is terrible I suspect my thumping headache is due to the extremely high MSG levels in the food the nice old lady should retire and cash in her property which would be worth a mint don't buy food here you WILL regret it

This Chinese takeout is absolutely delicious and mouth-watering. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Jenny is a lovely woman who provides excellent service. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a 5-star rating.
What a dump! The outside of the building says it all, it looking more like a laundromat. The takeaway only food is identical to the junk that one would find in a shopping centre. Give it a miss as there are much better places around.
