Love the beautiful setting at Tradewinds and the amazing view. Drinks are a little pricey, wish they had a happy hour. They just introduced Wine down Wednesday where you get free canapé with glass of wine, so thought we would have a go. Ordered four glasses of wine and then went back for a whole bottle of wine. Only canapé we received was a few tiny pieces of Turkish bread and some olives. Same plate for both orders! It was nice, but underwhelming and not what we were expecting.
Being right on a big highway I guess it puts you a little off but then when you are in you realize that it doesn't really affect the enjoyment of the river views.We found the service way above the average in WA. The waiter was very professional, courteous, attentive and balanced in approaching our table.The food was good. We only ordered stake sandwiches and a calamari entree however it was well presented and the food was fresh.Definitively recommend it especially to travelers.
The only positive was the till lady’s manner. Very polite and gave the kids in our group colouring kits. They forgot my coffee until I reminded them 20 minutes later, another 20 minutes later I asked where the crispy skin barramundi was, and they hadn’t yet put it on. It wasn’t busy). When it came out it was a sloppy mushy fillet and there was no crispy skin. At all. Poor quality.
We used the bar and restaurant during our stay at the hotel. What a great place to eat and enjoy that relaxing drink. Prices are good and parking available at rear of hotel. meals at the bar area or restaurant where good and well priced . The views of the river from the bar and restaurant are great.Will be back again for sure Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
There were 4 of us for an al fresco lunch. We had Fish & Chips, Chilli Mussels, and two steak sandwiches. Not bad food, but without our 'discount voucher' valued at more than $23, it would have been very expensive. Service was good, and the view made the day. Not sure about a return visit.......
The view from the resturant was lovely, overlooking the swan river, the meal was great, the staff friendly and helpful. We also had breakfast there the next morning, the sun was shining, it was lovely sitting outside looking at the views of the river
Tried to order a drink before our meal and the first two of the wines I tried to order were not available. Right next door the bottle shop had both on offer. Really could someone not just go an get something.
Just dropped in without a reservation, very helpful staff found us a table overlooking the river. Good menu, nice beer, attentive staff and a very pleasant atmosphere, the meal was excellent. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
this place has a great atmosphere and it's location is great, apart from the highway in front although you hardly notice the traffic. Food was reasonably priced and there was a good variety
