I am used to having such pleasant experiences here, however, that wasn’t the case recently. It is very very noisy inside. You cannot hear what anybody at your table is saying which makes for a not so great dining experience. The waitress was annoyed that my elderly grandmother had a hard time seeing the print on the menu( the print is very small even for someone with good vision). Portions are smaller than average, and the prices are very high. don’t mind paying the price increase if the food is very good but it was just okay. The service was not great either we were searching for our waiter (s) for a while. The inside is lacking, it’s tables and chairs and that’s about it. Feels unfinished.
This was an expensive place to eat lunch for what we got. The salad, cocktails and dessert were very good. Service was also good. But three meals out of 4 were disappointing. The Chicken Cutlet was thin and over cooked in old oil. The Rigatoni a Tube in Veal Bolognese was so tasteless my guest had to add a significant amount of parmesan to eat it. My salmon pan seared was overcooked. The water was unfiltered. Perhaps it was the cook’s day off. Would you take a chance for $283 dollars?
We happened to be staying in the hotel across the street for a few days, but this is definitely a place worth seeking out. Fun and helpful staff, and lots of delicious sounding dishes. We went with the grilled octopus, squid ink pasta, and chicken scarpariello. Lots of wine by the glass options and a full bar. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!
This place was great the service and food were excellent. After another restaurant I had made reservations for a month ago for my wife and I anniversary had called me 3 hours till to tell me they had to close because of a gas leak I was super stressed but it ended up well because we found this place and were delighted ! The menu had choices for both vegetarians as well as non vegetarians. The service was excellent, although they could have not removed the used plates after every course. We enjoyed the appetizers like grilled shrimp and artichoke and the main course chicken/eggplant parmesan, a couple of chicken dishes and pasta.
Tramonto was absolutely tremendous! The food was top notch, the service was top notch, and I attended a private party situated in a private room. That was perfect. I don't live in the area but I do visit and every time I come back I will visit Tramonto. Amazing accessibility and plenty of parking!
Had. A dirty wine glass. The waiter poured wine into it, I asked for a clean glass, he poured from the dirty glass into the clean one. Very disconcerting.
