Very disappointed in this place. Unfortunately I sat down with a direct view into the kitchen. There was a large man, I presume the owner, who was coughing up a lung into his hand before handling food (numerous times). The cook was sweating over the grill, rubbing the sweat off his head, then plating food. To top of all off, the larger man and the cook lit up CIGARETTES in the kitchen!! I was completely repulsed. I asked to please cancel my dish as I can’t eat food prepared in these dirty conditions, and they treated my grandparents terribly the rest of the meal. An absolute gem of a restaurant! Run by a fantastic family (Rudy, Claudia, and Giacomo), this is the perfect place for a cozy, delicious Italian dinner. I usually start with the fried Roman artichokes but in the summer I can't resist the amazing Jersey tomatoes with mozzarella or burrata. Every pasta is fresh and delicious. I am always so excited to hear the specials the salmon with salsa verde is exquisite and I am truly devastated I've only lucked into ONE night when the special is eggplant parmigiana (phenomenal). And by this point Claudia knows I'll start with a glass of Chianti! Best food; best service family.
I wish I had taken pictures. eating was the best I had for a long time. the lemon sole above a bed of Broccoli rave I hate to admit, but I liked it better than my own Broccoli rave that never happened. the starter bruschetta was deliciously perfect crunch and great mix of aromen. my martini was made perfect and even the cappuccino was perfect. I'm sorry I've never been in there. but I'm back, big enough that I had enough for the next day. I've been acting on some pages.

The dining experience at this restaurant was authentically Italian. Every bite was packed with delicious flavors and generous portions. The family that owned and operated the restaurant was busy but still managed to provide a personal touch. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate. I highly recommend the entire experience.
