If you enjoy excellent, fresh, delicious, authentic chinese food, visit Treasure Inn. I was very much looking forward to returning here after over a year away, and was absolutely delighted with our meal.The salt and pepper tofu with green beans is a sensational dish, packed with flavour and texture. The steamed fish was perfectly cooked, great taste. Soft shell crabs were simply amazing, as were the whitebait. Was our first visit to Treasure Inn. We had a fabulous meal and were left wondering why we hadn't found this place before. The food was great, full of flavour and fresh. Phil came to our table to ask us how we found the food. His dad is the Chef and Ashleigh (sorry if spelt incorrectly) is the hostess, delightful with a bubbly personality and has a good knowledge of menu items. The service and food was excellent. The restaurant also has 5 star eat safe certification. Will definitely be back.
I have seen this place many times and finally one day my husband I decided to stop in. Great little shop, service is fantastic very personal. If you have something special you want cooked no problems just ring before hand and the chef can get the ingredients in. I loved the white bait definitely a must. We went for a family dinner one day and the chef cooked up this amazing crab (See photo).I would highly recommend this place, cheap, cheerful and a good Chinese food.
When we arrived the place was empty except for one other couple that was busy with their lunch.We ordered the following to share amongst four adults:Salt &Pepper Cutlet ($13.95). Sweet & Sour Pork (11.95). Chicken with Cashew nuts ($15.95) and Crispy Beef strips in plum sauce ($16.00). We ordered 2 helpings of steamed rice at only $2.50 ea and soft drinks at $4 ea. This would have to be the nicest Chinese i have had from a suburban restaurant. While the decor is simple, the food is just great. Service can be patchy depending on the wait staff, but the owner is always very friendly. They also serve more than just your run of the mill menu items. Always happy to come back here!
Treasure Inn is a delightful establishment run by great people. The food is exceptional every time and keeps me wanting to visit again! I especially enjoy the peaking duck roll! 5 star for u Phil
