Recently attended a conference at the H Hotel. This place is just a few blocks down the street. I had breakfast one morning, the breakfast quesadilla, very tasty and filling prepared then and served hot off the grill. I went back for lunch and had a club sandwich that was huge I had a hard time getting it in my mouth! The food on both occasions was plentiful, fresh, and great value for the money. Service was fast and extremely friendly I would recommend and return anytime.
If you order food through a delivery service, be sure to ask for utensils. I didn't receive any with my order, so I had to improvise by wetting the paper bag it came in and forming a makeshift spoon. It took a while for the spoon to dry, causing my food to get cold. The taste was decent, but I would have enjoyed it more if it had been hot. I do not recommend this restaurant as my food ended up tasting like a brown paper bag.
Was staying overnight at an airport hotel between flights and wanted somewhere reasonably priced for breakfast. Trimana (5901 w century blvd) was perfect. Great selection of breakfast wraps, sandwiches and salads. All made fresh once you order. Nothing on menu was more than about $7. Have a few tables inside and also outside under umbrellas. Highly recommend.
A great place in a weird building it doesn't look like anything special. The owners/staff are incredibly friendly, the food is fresh and it's not expensive. In an area full of hotels and their pricey restaurants, this spot is a breath of fresh air. Seems to be mostly popular for breakfast, but they have a lot of lunch items as well. During our layover at one of the many hotels near LAX, we were pleasantly surprised to discover this charming diner in the area. The breakfasts were basic but well-prepared and delicious, offering fantastic value. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming.
A hidden gem! Barely any signage, but the folks who work here will greet you with a smile, and make sure they get your order just right.
