When a sandwich has onions, it should say so in the description! I just spent 13 dollars on what was effectively just a smoothie and a bag of chips, because nowhere in the description for their new teriyaki sandwich did it mention that the pineapple was loaded with red onions! It was absolutely disgusting, I had to spit out the bite I took and nearly threw up. I did my due diligence, I read the description for the sandwich and nowhere did it mention onions! How hard is it to just have accurate sandwich descriptions??? I want to know what I'm eating before I eat it! I'm sitting here hungry and frustrated because someone at Tropical Smoothie can't write a menu properly!
I usually enjoy Tropical Smoothie, but I recently ordered delivery for me and my kids and only received the smoothies, not the sandwiches we had also ordered. When I called the store to let them know, they informed me that the sandwiches were left on the counter for pick up. Normally I would have been able to pick them up, but I had just had surgery and couldn't drive. We were disappointed that there was no immediate solution other than possibly getting a refund, which required the manager to contact the delivery department. After reading many negative reviews about this location, I will not be returning in the future.
I can?t express how terrible my service was today. I NEED A FULL REFUND ASAP! I ordered two smoothies, one was chunky and tasted off..(thrown in the trash), the other was runny and watery. I also ordered two sante fe quesadillas, (photos shown below). Why are they not cooked? Why are the 4&1/2 pieces of chicken extremely cold? Why is the rice not cooked? Why is the cheese not even slightly melted? Why is there just a drop of sauce on both quesadillas? I need answers. I did not wait 30min for uncooked food and terrible smoothies. I will be calling tomorrow, since they?re closed now.
Wow I love tropical smoothies as well but after reading all of the bad countless reviews I'm changing my mind if I pay for something I expect to get the best service and the food to be quality not watered down and unproportion. I often have to wait for an excessively long time for my smoothies and/or food at this restaurant. The orders are often incorrect and the sandwiches sometimes taste like plain bread and sauce. During my last visit, I witnessed a trainee and trainer arguing rudely in front of 20 other customers. It was very unprofessional. The only positive aspect of this restaurant is the manager, who is a great person.
in which always wait an extremely unnecessary time for smoothies and/or food. the orderings are not in the correct and the sandwiches sometimes taste like their just eating brot and sauce. last time I was there, a girl was trained on the register and the trainer and trainer were so rude to each other in front of the 20 patrons in the building. so unprofessional. that's just a great thing at this place.
Horrible customer service. I asked for a strawberry smoothie they charged me extra for strawberries and added bananas. I asked them did it have banana in it he said no. Sure enough it did. Got home to find my salad missing. Also, i've been to many tropical smoothies. I know this flatbread isn't portioned correctly. Disappointing, will not be returning.
