We were there to celebrate Birthday. I have been eyeing on this place for while. Ambiance and decor is okay. Nothing crazy but the food was delicious. This place can get busy so reservation is necessary or at least good. We ordered appetizers- falafel was delicious and babaganush was okay. Dinner was served and food was delicious. I ordered shrimp risotto and was delish. Everyone at our party enjoyed the food. Will definitely come again. Only thing that I have seen people ordered iced coffee type things. We weren’t able to order because they closed the machine. This place is huge on brunch so need to go for Brunch
Great drinks and food. I stopped by here for some drinks and bar food. we got moscow mule and mexican firing squad. I wasnt a fan of the smoky aftertaste of the mexican firing squad (drink) but besides that it was good and the moscow mule was delicious. we also got an order of fries which was fire. I wish happy hour was on weekends because the drinks are a little pricey. To be honest we only came here because we were waiting for taverna kyclades but we ended up loving it! might come back for bottomless brunch
I came to TRU for a weekend brunch. It was a really nice and open atmosphere, and I was able to get seated right away. I ordered the Nutella pancakes, berry french toast, and home fries. Also ordered an Americano and a mango smoothie. All the food was so delicious!! And the portion sizes were very good for the price. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a nice Astoria brunch spot.
Okay I came here for brunch it was empty, my boyfriend and I still went in thinking we’re going to get good service but it was the opposite, she was talking to the bartender the whole time then talking to the hostess, it was just horrible, love this place but sadly don’t know if I would come

Everything was amazing. Service was ultra professional and attentive, and everything cooked to perfection. The revamp has done Tru wonders! From the oregano fries to the filo wrapped feta with thyme honey
The food was amazing, the service was okay but very slow, we wait like an hour for the food and almost 30 minutes for dessert but the server was nice and very attentive. Coming back for the brunch!
Good experience Sunday AM brunch. Food very good. Loud evening music appropriately muted on Sunday morning. 5% charge to use credit card is annoying.
Drinks were great food was just OK. Service was also just OK which was kind of bad considering the place was empty the night we were there

The food was ok, a Bit on the pricey side.. but the ambiance is worth it. The STAFF WAS AMAZING!! Cant complain about it at all.
