Came here after seeing their IG marketing but was very disappointed with my food. I ordered on Fantuan with a promo which made the price more acceptable for the quality.I got the sushi maki combo which came with a side which I chose the vegetable tempura. I also got a tako wasabi. First, the sushi rice was bad—very sour from an unbalanced vinegar blend, and the rice texture was mushy and overly dense (you can see in the photo how the rice mushed together). The rice was so bad it rest ruined the fish on top. The Maki roll was okay but had too much mayo on top.The tako wasabi was overly salty and didn't have much wasabi at all. I ordered the ramen dish with a side of seaweed salad, my partner ordered the cold don don, we also got edamame and California roll to share with our baby. The food was fantastic but the service was less than stellar. It was hard to get ahold of the waiter when we needed to because they were rushing off after helping other customers. Also, another family with a baby got offered a high chair and baby utensils...we asked about it but they didn't give us the baby stuff. Baby had to eat in her stroller! The food was really good and tasty. I liked how much I could customize the ramen!
This Japanese restaurant on Unionville Main Street is decent. I plan to try other dishes next time as we only had the Ramen and minced Toro rolls. The food was rated 8 out of 10, with impeccable service and cleanliness both receiving a perfect 10 out of 10.
Premium Sashimi Don Don • 12 Pcs Aburi NigiriHad a great lunch at Tsuyoi Sushi to celebrate a special occasion. The food was fresh and tasty! ? The presentation looked amazing. I wish the portions were bigger tho. LOL As the price is a bit steep. ?????
Tsuyoi is not your typical all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. They have a delicious menu with a variety of unique dishes. While it is on the expensive side, there is plenty of parking in the back and a cozy small patio to enjoy your meal.

It's difficult to watch a reputable business suffer from the effects of COVID. It's even more challenging for me to evaluate this restaurant when they excel with some dishes but fall short with others. In short, I enjoy their ramen.
