We had heard great things about this restaurant, so we decided to order six soft tacos and four quesadillas to go. Our total came to $99, which I found to be quite pricey. My biggest issue was with the pricing. When I called to ask for a total, they informed me it would take several minutes because they were busy, so I didn't press the matter. Unfortunately, I was hoping the food would justify the cost, but it fell short. While I might consider returning if the prices were lower, the portions were small and the flavors were just average—not as authentic as I had expected.
An easy 5 star review. Let's start with the vibrant colors and contemporary design of interior and exterior it's an invitation to come in for a real treat. Now for the eats. If you're looking for a tasty and satisfying taco you'll not be disappointed. From chorizo to blackened tuna to slow roasted chicken to shredded pork to black bean, there's something for everyone. The presentation is just as satisfying as the taste. You'll have the option of gringo or traditional. I recommend the latter. If you go once you'll go again I promise.
Man, this place is GREAT! Like I am mad at myself for not realizing it was around sooner. The tacos are by far the beat tacos I have had in Roanoke. The "southern comfort# catfish taco was amazing! My two girlfriends and I placed our orders then ate then placed second orders for more tacos then I ordered more tacos to take home for my husband. After our engagement photos, we decided to stop by this restaurant, and it turned out to be an excellent choice! The food was incredible—we tried the fried avocado taco, the fried chicken taco, and the steak tacos, and I highly recommend all of them. Tucos was absolutely amazing... I highly recommend the nachos as they were the best food I have ever eaten in my life. Friendly staff and they also make a mean you'd margarita that was mixed perfect. This place is a little diamond of Roanoke! My all time new favorite restaurant
The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Most of the tacos were excellent, although one was a bit bland. Fortunately, the others more than made up for it. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the happy hour is fantastic.
The happy hour is pretty hard to beat with a good margarita pitcher for $15! Food is decent with a lot of different speciality taco options. Cool spot to chill and get drinks/food.
