We were left feeling disappointed as we really wanted to like this restaurant. Each time we have visited, we have experienced very little to no service. It took us 15 minutes to be acknowledged when we arrived, despite standing in front of the bar. During this time, two staff members were busy adding items to the till. A simple "hi, be right there" would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, this lack of service has been a recurring issue. Despite having to go to the bar for drinks, we managed to place our order. However, we were informed about 5 minutes later that they did not have what we had ordered. After changing our order, we were again told after 10 minutes that they did not have what...
The food was extremely dry and overcooked. Unfortunately, we had to wait 45 minutes for our order, only to find that the roast beef was tough and had been sitting under heat lamps. When we informed the staff, they did offer to refund us for that meal, but we had already paid and waited for so long that we didn't want to waste any more time. It's a shame because the staff were friendly, but the food quality was very disappointing.
I regularly come here for dinner with my girlfriend and I literally can never fault it! The staff are so lovely and attentive, nothing is an inconvenience for them. The steak was so good I actually went back for it twice in one week! We particularly had a great time on Friday night, great atmosphere. Despite them being busy with christmas parties, the lovely young girls looked after us very well.
This hotel is old, but cute! Price is reasonable, customer service from staff was top notch and the rooms were nice and clean. Bus stop and train located very close to hotel, so that was convenient! If you have business/commitments in central London, I would stay closer. Otherwise, this was a lovely experience! Thank you!

Neat, modern, and clean rooms with good facilities. Friendly staff and a hassle free check-in/out experience. The location was perfect for my visit, with good transport links. I would stay again.
Just went for a drink with some colleagues after work. Nothing fancy etc, food looked decent, but it seemed as though they couldn't manage large orders, as there was a long wait.
We had a great time. Staff was lovely, food was great and the breakfast was our higlight. They treat us like like queen and king
Had a lovely breakfast with friends here, we are staying for 3 nights. The smoked salmon and scrambled egg sandwich is a must!
