The new menu is superbly crafted and features many exciting options, such as the protein pancake and shakshuka. The protein pancake is exceptionally fluffy, with a delightful crunch from the granola. The sour lemon ricotta “cheese” and berry marmalade create a perfect balance of flavors. While I was sad to learn that Turf no longer serves my favorite French toast, this pancake has definitely won me over. The shakshuka is also worth a try—the soft, glossy tofu adds an interesting twist. The “Toasts” are a must-try, and I highly recommend them. I sampled the mushroom ricotta and edamame kimchi options. So the food here is great the baked scones are perfect to take for hiking and those blueberry pancakes are THE BOMB. Coffee is really well made too. However, I’d recommend not tipping at this place though they don’t deliver your order to your table and they don’t come around and clean it either, so why even charge a tip if you won’t provide that basic service??? The clientele that goes to this place are also really snobby and rude, so don’t bother engaging in social conversation or telling someone their dog is cute.Dietary restrictions: Great food for vegans.
Turf is a fantastic spot for vegan and vegetarian dishes, offering delicious drinks and baked goods. Their protein pancakes are an absolute treat, especially when you're craving a hearty brunch. On a lovely Saturday afternoon, you can enjoy the view of the lively street life in Kits from the cozy window seats. I would suggest avoiding the busy times right after fitness classes end, as the café can get quite crowded; their schedule is available on the website. However, most of the time, it's a relaxed and enjoyable place to dine.
Great spot for a morning coffee. They also sell pastries. Prices are reasonable. It’s quite a big place so there’s normally no wait for a table. Additionally, they do have a patio however this is not allowed to be use for people that need to work on their laptops/iPads. You are more than welcome to work inside though.Would recommend.
Cool place to workout, eat, and shop local goods. They have a wide variety of plant based options so that was nice. Definitely not the best place if you’re going to want to speak to someone over coffee, the music is blaring from the workout studio in the shop. Matcha isn’t good, but everything else is decent healthy food.
Coffee place next to gym. Loud music from the gym. The place has a cool atmosphere and good service and the coffee was good. The food wasn't good. They managed to ruin a simple avocado toast by pouring too much chili. The nut and jam toast and the smoothies weren't tasty either.Food: 2/5
Always been a big fan of turf however this is the second time recently getting the mushroom toast and was told the salad no longer comes with it the portion was a quarter less! Same price though? See pictures of before and after. Not worth it now..
Great location and super cute space. When my caterer bailed on me last minute I reached out and they totally took care of me here and created the most beautiful/delicious platters for my work event. I love that they also have GF/V options.
This place is part of a yoga studio so the food is more healthy than tasty but altogether not too bad. If watching sweaty people doing yoga while you eat is your idea of fun...Food: 3/5
