This is the second year I've gotten food here, but the first time I ever visited the location. I love it! Nice, clean, polished. We got to talk with Ms. Nikki, the owner, and enjoyed how the restaurant came to be. I was so pleased with the size and tenderness of the sweet heat turkey leg that I haven't ventured to try anything else. Though next time, I might get a slice of cake or two after seeing it (we just barely beat the mob coming in when I saw it, lol).Parking: FYI: Getting in and out can be a little tight for larger vehicles, so be mindful of that.
I ordered the original turkey leg along with a few sides, but unfortunately, everything was bland. The turkey leg had no flavor and tasted burnt, like smoke. The green beans were excessively salty, the baked beans were overly sweet, and the rice was dry and lacked taste. To make matters worse, the prices are outrageous; I spent over $40. The only redeeming item was the lemonade, but that's just because it's a beverage. I ended up throwing everything away after just one bite, and I won't be returning.
The turkey was enjoyable. The jerk turkey was spicier than I expected, but the original turkey was delicious. The lemon pepper turkey was also very good. The sides were just okay, and the green beans were extremely spicy, so I couldn’t serve them to my kids. However, the customer service was excellent.

The host was rude, and the prices are unreasonable. One turkey leg and one side cost $22, which I think is too much. I'd rather go to Tara Blvd, where you can get at least two sides and a drink for $20.
Turkey On the Loose is the absolute BEST. The customer service experience is GREAT (nice, friendly staff). Clean restaurant, and DELICIOUS food. Black Owned business and worth the SUPPORT!!!!!
