We waited about 15 minutes to get seated (which is fine). The server seemed to decide we weren't worthy of her time though once we were at our table. We ordered a half litre of wine which took her 15 minutes to bring, then 10 more minutes before we ordered. I ordered a pasta which was fine, but my wife ordered a chicken dish which CLEARLY had reheated grilled chicken on it which was flavorless and dry. Then after eating we were made to sit and wait nearly 20-30 minutes for our bill. We don't go to Quebec City often, but the next time we're in town, we will not be visiting this restaurant.
I visited this restaurant with family and friends during lunchtime. Some of us ordered from the brunch menu while others chose items from the lunch menu, so we ended up sampling a variety of dishes, including pasta, pizza, and breakfast plates. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. The owner was present in the dining area, ensuring that all the guests were happy with their meals. I will definitely be returning!
My husband ordered spaghetti with meatballs, which was delicious and served in generous portions. I chose the salmon, which was excellent—cooked to perfection at medium rare. The portion was thick and moist, which is a rarity in restaurants in the USA. Overall, Tuscanos has everything you desire in a restaurant.
In our view, this restaurant deserves a solid 5 stars. The ambiance, service, and quality of the ingredients all contributed to a fantastic dining experience. Great food and service over here. Easy to find and easy to park. We ordered the Santa Fe chicken and Alfredo pasta. The Santa Fe had a few charred veggies but the chicken was delicious. We also had the bombe de chocolat and it was awesome. English speakers will also have no issues here.
I stopped by for lunch and ordered a vegetarian pizza, penne arrabiata, and spaghetti with pomodoro sauce. The food was delicious, and the service was quick.
I discovered this hidden gem, and I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious.
