Two of us ordered the beef steak lasagna, served with chips and a salad. It was very enjoyable, featuring thick, tasty chunks of beef nestled between beautifully soft sheets of lasagna. Additionally, we had a massive piece of thick, locally produced gammon, complemented by crispy, flavorful chips — both looked and tasted fantastic. The service was great, with friendly staff, and the atmosphere was lovely. Plus, the place is dog-friendly in the bar area. I highly recommend giving it a try!
The receptionist was incredibly friendly, approachable, and very informative! The hotel itself felt clean, comfortable, and safe. Our room had everything we needed—just a bed and a bathroom, which was perfect! You really can’t go wrong with that! The amenities offered were also excellent. Although my partner and I chose to skip breakfast because we were a bit tired, I’m sure it would have been delightful! I would definitely stay here again.
We had a table for nine and everyone ordered something different, and we all enjoyed our meals! I would recommend making a reservation as it can get quite busy. I’m giving it four stars because they served carbonated water instead of lemonade, and while the tables were marble, they had a coating on top that felt like microfiber.
