The only issue we encountered was that bread was placed under our food despite my informing our server that my partner is gluten-free. I made it very clear that their meals needed to be completely free of any gluten contamination. We ordered our dishes carefully to accommodate their dietary needs. It's important to note that this isn't just a preference; my partner has celiac disease, and even a small amount of gluten can trigger an immune response that leads to severe illness and harm to their small intestine.
Twin Doors is hands down my favorite bar in northern New Jersey! I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and the food is genuinely some of the best in the area. I can’t recall ever having a bad meal here. Some of my top picks include the chicken parmesan, cauliflower tacos, and goulash. However, what truly makes Twin Doors special is the incredible staff; the servers and bartenders are all so friendly that you always feel like part of the family when you visit! Make sure to stop by on Fridays and Saturdays!
I came around 5 for dinner. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was quiet and calm and perfect, and the waiter was incredibly kind and attentive. I forgot my backpack when I was there! The waiter noticed and tried to call to me when I left the restaurant, but I didn't hear. When I came back, they were keeping it safely in the office for me. I'm so grateful for the awesome people working here!
Warm atmosphere and good food. Had the chicken marsala dinners whiich were tasty. One order served with the salad and the other with a cup of chicken gumbo. Loved the soup. Friendly and attentive service by our waitress, Karin. Nice layout of the restaurant with a couple seperate banquet rooms. Small, but comfortable bar area that has some booths. I thought the prices were a tad above average.

We went in and wasn't to busy. Service was quick. I had a **** marry and it was perfect. My burger itself though was lacking some flavor and the bacon way to over cooked. The slaw on the side was good. Onion rings where good as well. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger but also says it was lacking some flavor. We would go back give twin door tavern another try.
Local tavern with amazing chef skills. Was surprised honestly at the quality of eats. Wings were meaty and crisp. Had the short rib goulash cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding from hostess to waitress.
This is a fantastic local spot with delicious food and drinks prepared just the way they should be. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend it as a great neighborhood bar!
Five stars for service! Sunday brunch steak was cooked the right medium rare and the eggs were perfectly poached. The crab cake sandwich was good. Beer and cocktails were $4 each during brunch hour.
