Two Brother's Smoked Meats

Made the trip to Starkville to help my son move into his first house. My husband 's only request is that we eat dinner at Two Brothers he 's waited 5 years to eat here! . We arrived after a long day of moving at 7:30pm. Probably 5 tables of people eating at that time. Our waitress was nice but SO slow. We ordered tacos. She came back to say they were out of pork belly tacos so we went with the special redfish tacos. She came back and said that they were out of tortillas so there were no tacos. I had the nachos and my husband got the prime rib sandwich. Meat in both meals was excellent but not a great experience so I doubt we ll be back.

Always been overcharged on my card when out. Or charged Vegas prices for shots $22 for 2 house shots! . Always keep your receipts or take pictures otherwise they’ll pretend to mysteriously lose the copy but add a couple dollars to the tip. Trash food and service, cockroach rumors have been going around the rumor mill since I first moved to stark in high school. Edit- was not gonna initially mention this, but have also had tabs opened w/o my knowledge hence, bogus charges because I didn’t even know I had a tab open! Recently got an extra charge despite not having a tab open.

Had white BBQ chicken tacos and it was jus thrown in to go box and fries were left off order as well... No napkins offered or condiments, I have recommended this place plenty of times and have eaten here a dozen of times as well, this isn't the first time I have received my food less than satisfactory but I felt obligated to do a review now, try your luck, might be better than my experience. Food was awesome, tons of flavor and generous portions. We got the pulled pork grilled cheese and the French dip, both amazing. The regular fries are better than the sweet potato fries, though. The issue with our experience was the service, our server just seemed apathetic and didn't actually attend our table aside from ordering and giving us the check. No refill, no napkins, no utensils... The food was BBQ was very good. Everyone had something different and raved about it. The Pork Belly taco was to die for with brown sugar mustard glaze, white BBQ sauce cold slaw and topped with crispy pork rinds and the chicken bacon white BBQ taco was excellent as well, and well-balanced. The Street Corn was perfectly seasoned and smoked to perfect. I would highly recommend stopping by. Service: Dine in

Very good. Would love to go back and try some other items. I can't recommend the pork rinds, but the prime rib french dip was amazing. They have Shiner Boch, and that's always a plus. Had a great time with friends. Bartender Josh was great. He answered any questions we had on food and beverages. Service was great. We tried the smoked wings and they were fantastic, perhaps the best I’ve ever had. A good selection of various brews. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
