Based on the TripAdvisor reviews and the web site I got the impression this was going to be a German restaurant. It wasn't. Let's just say it is German INSPIRED..... We both ordered Jägerschnitzel Hunterschnitzel, and for the first time in my life I received a BREADED Jägerschnitzel! I should probably have been suspicious when we were told it could come with potato salad or mashed potatoes, but not with Spätzle or (home)fried potatoes. I have eaten Jägerschnitzel multiple times in Germany, and the Two Goblet version is nowhere near authentic. Even the mushroom sauce is wrong (and pretty bland), it's supposed to be creamy. So the -not cheap- meal was a big disappointment. The schnitzel itself...
3 friends and I ate here before the Jan Arden concert. Good food was eaten by all. I had the Hungarian Goulash. It didn't disappoint with melt in your mouth meat and great taste. Two friends had different schnitzels and both reported they were great. One friend had pirogies with bacon and onions. Love it. Before the main meal two of us had nice crisp salad items from the small choice salad bar and the other two the creamy vegetable soup also enjoyed it. No deserts. The meal was timely and the service good. It is a small restaurant I would recommend you make a reservations
I have just visited Two Goblets again, after almost a couple of years, open at this time only for pick up, and can happily attest that this is still the best schnitzel place! In my many visits there over the years the food is always tasty, fresh unpretentious, the portions are super generous and the friendly owners always there doing their fantastic job in the kitchen and the front room. As the sitting area is not yet open the owners put some shelves with central/ eastern European groceries for sale. Thanks! Anna Z.
We are regular customers because no one makes better schnitzel. Each time we take friends they also love the fresh food, the soup and salads. Everything is made from scratch. The desserts are to die for. The owners are wonderful sincere people who look after their customers. I highly recommend eating here!
We have dined at the Two Goblets Restaurant, for dinner, a couple of times and have not been disappointed. The schnitzel is the best in the area and the perogies are delectable. Varied menu and comes with soup of the day or 'build your own ' salad. It is worth a visit you won 't be disappointed.
You advertise that you are open till 9:00 and at your front door it indicates the same closing time. So after hauling my butt to eat there based on previous visits and other's reviews I walk in at 8:00 to be told the kitchen is closed Enough said!
Terrible....the restaurant lacks everything....atmosphere.....the food is an insult to Germans and Austrians. I can't even believe they are still in business! It is a dump!
