U Castellu Di Santarellu

From the Calenzana passage we stopped drawn to the front of this bakery. We took hot chocolates and chocolate breads. Unfortunately these are not homemade, having work in bakery it is simple to make the difference. On the other hand, the window feels inside and we see that the rest of the products are made on site. The view of the terrace is beautiful. If you want to taste small cakes and eat a herb pie stop you more than the prices are more than reasonable.

We turned up at 11.30am having just completed the GR20 and asked for a big salad and a beer. The waitress was quizzical and asked if we liked green leaves , tomatoes , tuna, cheese, and egg, apologised for not having meat . We received the biggest, best salad for two along with a couple of Pietra beers. Afterwards I realised they made biscuits and ice cream. Lovely people who went way beyond what was necessary. Completely made my day.

Kaffee sehr lecker. Brot gekauft und Baguette. Die kleinen Berliner waren großartig. Eine tolle Bäckerei. Die Männer sind sehr nett und haben mit großen Lächeln gedient. Ich möchte zurückkommen.
