Thought we would have a night out with Corse fare. Very disappointing. Food average but not stunning. Presentation lacked imagination and was very basic. Not a meal to realx and enjoy more to be got through and leave. Hope waiter was a summer student because...if that is his full time job he needs serious help. The reviews here are over 2 years old and we couldn't identify with the previous comments. The food was very good and the staff very attentive and friendly. We shared some goats cheese spring rolls with a nice salad, followed by the best cheeseburger I...think I've ever had! My girlfriend went for chicken skewers which were also lovely. The portions were just right and we finished off sharing a small helping of the desserts on offer with coffee. Delicious! shortly after the arrival in calvi we arrived here for a late lunch and were not disappointed. in the did it was interesting to see after that the reviews were mixed and at the end, clear from the date. the workers were very attentive, the tables were busy...with a mix of local and visitors and the menu is simple, but well cooked. the service was very good, and the prices correspond to what they expect. so if you want a change from the quayside bustle and fantasies a relaxed, unfussy lunch with wonderful view over the bay, you give it a walk.

Food here was good, and reasonably priced. Mussels were exceptionally good value, at €10 or so, and the wild boar was tasty and good. the service was charming, if a little slow at times. This was the only place we ate twice, and would say...that it was particularly good for Calvi, which has many over priced restaurnts. The position, below the bastion, in a shady area was appealing. I don; 't think that you can go wrong here.
the people who work there are very nice. we have eaten a very good risotto with huge prawns, cameer that I think they called it. the part was big and the service was quite fast

Good food, but a little strange that the waiter could not recommend any white wines at a fish restaurant (because he did not drink white wine himself).
