A disappointing experience. Food took forever to arrive we got our sushi rolls around 70 mins after first ordering. Everything came at odd times eg no rolls together. When we asked to remove the service (14% which is high for anywhere in London, let alone a place with noticeably poor service) as a result, the waiter was quite rude and dismissive and didn’t even apologise for the wait we’d endured. Food was fairly okay, though disappointing to have to wait so long for it. There was a really nice female waitress, but apart from that, we were very let down by the service. I wouldn’t recommend
We dropped into Ukai while doing some shopping and sightseeing. What a find! Our host Aditi was so personable, kind and accomodating. Oliver, our barman was extremely knowledgeable in making cocktails. Highly recommend a visit as you will not be disappointed.
Really enjoyed our visit. The food was delicious. Nice atmosphere and polite staff. A couple of small delays, but they were short of staff, 2 of the waiter/waitress. I think they need more waiting staff. Overall a great experience.
Lovely place, beautiful decor inside and out. Who knew I could enjoy a relaxing time enjoying amazing Japanese cuisine in the middle of Notting Hill? The owner Alex is amazing and personable. Go to UKAI!

The vibe of the restaurant is just perfect, we had such a good time here. The food, the service and the ambiance were all on point, the sushi was delicious.
The staff was rude and unwelcoming. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby with courteous and professional service. I would not recommend this place.
Everything that we ordered was very good. The waitress was very nice, a young cheerful lady that made us feel at home. The mochis are very good.
This was our first stop after getting engaged, and the staff were so incredibly kind! The food/drinks were also fantastic.
