My husband and I arrived in Tournus at 1:15, we parked by the eglise and wanted to get some lunch before things shut down ... Stopped at Un Autre Monde and the server just couldn't be bothered with us, although they were fairly busy and it appeared lunch service was in full swing. We asked for an empty table for 2 in the shade - she told us this - although set - was 'too far' and offered instead one of two tables in direct sun or a table with one chair across the street next to a parked motor cycle. On Saturday morning, we walked around, and we thought a Corsican meal would be nice. Very friendly welcome of the waitress, we are the first, we settle in the shade. We're ordering a Corsican menu of course and we think we're gonna have a nice time, and no. The boss is very unpleasant with the staff, impoli and does not address any word to his clients by installing them. And for the Corsican menu, not terrible; the veal with the tagliatelles with the industrial tomato sauce, I do the same thing but I don't say restaurateur.I who dreams of riding the corse on a motorcycle, I hope they are more welcoming on the island.
Not so easy to find a restaurant in Tournus on a Sunday evening...we decided to try this one since it has a nice terrace and basically we could't find any other one!Beer: I took a Pietra which did not exactly taste like a PietraWine: most of the wines on the menu were not available...disappointed I decided to take what seemed to be an average Macon, which proved absolutely delicious (18 EUR on the menu, WELL worth the price!)Food: I took an entrecôte which was very very average. Big disappointment. My wife took the boeuf bourguignon, it was good.The service was good, staff was friendly.
Quite simple the best chicken I have ever tasted! The food was gourmet style for budget prices. 3 courses for around 13 euro. from starter to dessert it was perfect, The choice was quite limited but what they serve more than makes up for this. A good selection of wine and beer to accompany the meal at a reasonable price. We had our dog Kira,and told the waitress she could not eat the chicken bones, so she came out a little later with a plate of boneless chicken pieces for Kira. If you are ever near Tournus any enjoy good food you need to visit Un Autre Monde!

There are probably other more nice restaurants in turnnus. menu of the day to 15 euros for dish entry or dessert. dear for what we eat. I took a mozza tomato in the entrance and "salmon laces" in the dish. If we can call it lasagna. the dish was pulled out of the box, put to the micro wave and served.When the boss doesn't count on him to improve the image of the horns. all prejudices on the corses are gathered in this person. I complained to the waitress who started the day I ate the bottom and wanted him good courage.
Arrived on a hire boat and looked forward to a good meal. Used trip advisor but the chosen restaurant was closed (Thursday.) As were most others. Found this one which was open but empty. Limited menu was interesting so decided to stay. Wow only two choices for each course but excellent presentation and quality. Service excellent and the chef deserves an award. Pity Michelin gave out their stars two days ago. If this was typical it deserves to be much higher up the list.
certainly a priori in the opening phase for a few weeks, despite an acceptable quality I found a very high price with a very small quantity. I am particularly familiar with the Tournusian restoration to restore it regularly, I see that we are far from the best value price. It's a shame because it's in the opening phase that we put forward its image. I hope the reactions will be without delay.
reopened since 20 June 2015. new kitchen, welcome the most charming. fast and high quality service. irreproachable kitchen. and to advise. Sunny and very pleasant terrasa in the heart of the tourist city., close to the Holy Abbey Philibert. restaurant must be recommended and to be discovered.

we didn't eat in the restaurant, but we came to take the air at last after noon, then back in the evening (con concert hall), very good atmosphere, boss with a character but very nice! I think it's worth the detour;) taste the white Corsican beer she's on top!
